REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE
A service of Remembrance Day will take place at 10:45am on Sunday 14 November 2021 at the War Memorial.
All roads leading to the crossroads at the War Memorial will close at 10:15 to all traffic until the Remembrance Day service is concluded.
(The affected roads are Station Road, Frolesworth Road, Cosby Road and Main Street).
All routes will be reopened by 11:45am

NOTICE OF CONCLUSION OF AUDIT
In Accordance with the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/234) Broughton Astley Parish Council is required to publish the attached documents, following the conclusion of the audit of accounts for the year ended 31 March 2021.

The Parish Council have received notification that further blasting at Croft Quarry is scheduled for tomorrow - Thursday 3 September 2020.
They have stated that Broughton Astley may hear and feel tremors from the explosions and wished to make residents aware prior to the event.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure is required on Old Mill Road, Broughton Astley on the 29th May 2020 for 1 day.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.
