Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure is required on Old Mill Road, Broughton Astley on the 29th May 2020 for 1 day.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.

Please bring: jigsaws, DVD's, books & boxed games

Broughton Astley Parish Council is looking to coordinate volunteers within the village to help those who may find themselves in isolation or unable to do day to day things.
If you are able to volunteer this could be shopping, collecting prescriptions to dog walking etc, etc or it could even be a friendly phone call to relieve loneliness or isolation.

As from 6 January 2020 until April 2020 Dunton Road will be CLOSED to all traffic (access to properties only will be allowed).

As from 1 January 2020 new opening and closing times will come into operation at the Frolesworth Road recreation ground due to the previous arrangement of dawn until dusk being too ambiguous.
APRIL - SEPTEMBER 6.30AM - 9.30PM
OCTOBER - MARCH 6.30AM - 4.30PM
An emergency number will be displayed in the recreation ground should there be an issues arising.
