Fire Risk - Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground
Broughton Astley Parish Council would like to ask park users to contact us if they saw anyone setting fire to items on the grass on the afternoon or evening of Wednesday 10th August 2022.
During this current heatwave and increased risk of wildfire, due to extremely dry ground conditions and high temperatures, we were dismayed and concerned to see the damage to the park grass.

Vandalism
There has been a second spate of (almost identical) vandalism to the youth shelter and fencing in the space of a week. This comes just days after repair work has been carried out.
Please contact the Parish office 01455 285655 if you have any information or evidence that could help us to identify the vandals.
