Harborough District Council have announced that following a public consultation, the order aimed at tackling irresponsible dog owners in Harborough District will continue for at least another 3 years.
Harborough District Council introduced the Public Space Protections Order (PSPO) on Dog Controls in June 2016.

The Parish Council is pleased to announce that the new Broughton Astley Leisure Centre has been open for a week now and has experienced a steady stream of customers through its doors.

There are still some tickets available for the Annual Christmas Carol concert that will be held in the Village Hall on
FRIDAY 6 DECEMEBER at 7.30pm
Two tickets per household are free to residents of the village and a small charge of £5 per person to those who do not live in Broughton Astley.

Saturday 29 June will see the return of the Annual Carnival which will be held on Thomas Estley College field.
The day will start with a parade of floats which will leave the Industrial estate at 12 noon and will arrive on the field at 1pm to mark the opening of the carnival.
The beer and BBQ tent will be in the centre of the field, along with many varied stalls and attractions.

REPORTED CRIME FIGURES FOR BROUGHTON ASTLEY
The Parish Council has been informed by the local Police beat team that between 12 June and 25 June 2019 there have been the following crimes reported to the Police:
2 reported burglaries in Broughton Astley
5 reported vehicle crimes in Broughton Astley.
It is essential to report any crime by either contacting the Police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
