New Playground Equipment at Frolesworth Road Park
Broughton Astley Parish Council have installed a new piece of Multi-play equipment at Frolesworth Road recreation ground. This is the one chosen by children and adults surveyed at the park during the summer, and has replaced the oldest piece of equipment in the play area.

Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground
Please could you remind your children that Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground closes during the Autumn/Winter period at 4:30pm. There have been incidents where youths have been aware that the gates are being locked but refused to exit the park, or even hidden until the park is locked and then been unable to get out. Please leave the park when requested or you will be locked in.

Community Defibrillators Installed
Broughton Astley Parish Council are delighted to report that the installation of two new defibrillators is now complete. One is located in a decommissioned telephone kiosk on Coventry Road and the other at Frolesworth Road Recreation Ground. These are both now working fully and registered with the ambulance service.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:-
COVENTRY ROAD, BROUGHTON ASTLEY
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A road closure and temporary speed reduction is required on Coventry Road, Broughton Astley.
