A temporary road closure is required on Old Rectory Close on the 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th May 2021.

The Duke of Edinburgh 1921 - 2021

It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

Further announcements will made in due course.

The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
A temporary 40mph speed limit will be in force on Guthlaxton Gap & Coventry Road (B4114) from the 01/04/2021 until the 16/04/2021.

With regard to the recent inspection and laying down of unsafe memorial headstones at Frolesworth Road Cemetery the Parish Council would like to explain why and how to this came about.
