New Sanitising Fogging Machine!

New Sanitising Fogging Machine!

We are delighted to announce that we have just taken delivery of a new sanitising machine which, in addition to the safety measures currently in place, will assist us in keeping the village hall and Frolesworth Road recreation ground users safe from the threat of Covid-19.

The Zoono is a shield surface sanitiser which is sprayed onto high contact areas. It is effective for up to 30 days, unlike other cleaning products.

The manufacturer states:

'Zoono currently is successfully used on transport systems, buildings, vehicles, shipping, homes and hospitals where there is a risk of infection. Routine liquid disinfectants work when the surface is wet and at point of disinfection, once the disinfectant is wiped off or dried it is no longer capable of killing any further microorganisms that recontaminate that surface. Surfaces can become recontaminated to the same levels as before disinfection within 1 – 2 hours. This is the reason why Zoono fogging technology is being used as an extra precaution to support routine cleaning activities.'

We will be using the sanitiser on all play equipment, the multi gym and toilets at the recreation ground. We will also be using Zoono to clean and protect surfaces and equipment inside the village hall.

The Parish Council feels that we are making our facilities as safe as they can possibly be, by providing the Zoono fogging sanitiser in addition to the current safety measures already in place.
