People are being invited to have their say on proposals around new dog laws.
The Antisocial Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 has introduced powers for councils to bring in Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) to identify and address particular problems such as dog fouling and dogs not on leads in public places.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to the closure of the part footpath in Old Rectory Close, Broughton Astley.
The closure is required from Old Rectory Close to St Mary's Church.
The footpath will be closed from 07:00 hours Monday 16 November 2015 for up to 9 days.
This will safely allow the installation of a new gas supply.

Harborough District Council is seeking public views on options for their new Local Plan, which will set out planning policies in the district for the period to 2031.
They are seeking the views of residents and businesses on these options to help shape the draft Local Plan.

It has been confirmed that Leicester house builder Jelson has secured a new Aldi food store for its residential-led development in Broughton Astley.
The 18,650 sq ft store, which is expected to create about 40 jobs, forms part of Jelson's wider development in the village.
