REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE - ROAD CLOSURE

Broughton Astley's Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday 10th November 2019 at 10.45am at the Village War Memorial.

The following roads will be closed from 9.30am to 12 Noon -

Cosby Road - Frolesworth Road - Main Street - Station Road

Advance Notice of a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order has been received for the following locations:

Main Street, Leire - 18th November for 6 weeks

Stemborough Lane, Leire - 6th January 2020 for 2 weeks

Broughton Lane, Leire - 13 January 2020 for 4 weeks

The order has been implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate water main renewal.

The Parish Council are seeking to recruit a motivated self-starter with good customer service skills as a Premises Officer at the Village Hall. You must be available to work on a 7–day fortnightly rota basis, which includes working some unsocial hours.

ROAD SIGN CLARIFICATION

The Parish Council office has received notification from Leicestershire County Council Highways clarifying the signage displayed on Coopers Lane, Dunton Bassett and Cottage Lane, Broughton Astley.
