Leisure Centre Site - Construction of a new combined cycleway & footpath
Broughton Astley Leisure Centre Site
Work will commence on this the provision of a new cycleway and footpath w/c 03 April 2023 for approximately 8 weeks.
Please keep to any diversions, alternative routes, and access points during this time. Please be aware of workmen/machinery in the area and take extra precaution.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order - Green Road March 2023
A road closure is required on Green Road, Broughton Astley on the 29th March 2023 for 3 days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to undertake new water connection works.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be signed on site. During the closures, any alternative routes available to all traffic will be signed on site.

Frolesworth Road Cemetery Topple Testing to commence May 2023
Please note that Broughton Astley Parish Council's ongoing safety programme involves the inspection of all memorials above 2ft in height at the Cemetery.
Testing shall commence in May 2023.

Grounds Maintenance Assistant 15 years service
Our Grounds Maintenance Assistant, Nick Algate, marks 15 years' service with the Parish Council. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Nick for all his hard work over the years.
We are also pleased to announce that he recently passed the NAMM City & Guilds Safety Inspection & Assessment of Memorials in Burial Grounds.

Tackling your priorities - Road Safety
The Road Safety team operate the mobile speed camera vans. In December the team, which cover the whole force area, spent 25 hours conducting checks along various roads in our area. They detected 87 offences. Read the full report here:
