Halls for Hire

Broughton Astley Village Hall

We are delighted to announce that the village hall will be reopening our doors fully on Monday 19th July 2021.

It remains important to respect and be considerate of those who are more vulnerable and who may wish to take a more cautious approach and to keep our staff safe, so we will be keeping the following procedures in place:

We expect you to continue to make use of the hand sanitising stations/dispensers
A face mask must be worn when visiting the Parish Council Office.
The legal requirements to wear a face covering will be lifted in all settings. Guidance will advise that wearing a face covering will reduce your risk and the risk to others, where you come into contact with people you don't normally meet in enclosed and crowded spaces, so use of face coverings will remain advisable in confined spaces such as toilets, kitchens and corridors and at more crowded events.
We continue to use the NHS Track & Trace QR code at our premises
We advise that windows can remain open for ventilation purposes throughout the booking. Consider individual risks, such as clinical vulnerabilities and vaccination status.

The limits on the amount of people allowed in each room will also ended on Monday 19th July 2021. Previous room capacity is to be restored. This stands at:
The Cottage x 25
The Alan Talbott Room x 50 - 100
The Broughton Hall x 130 - 180
The Astley Room x 15

Apart from during the full lockdown, we are very proud that our venue has remained open throughout the pandemic. The measures that we have put in place have proven successful in keeping everyone safe and we wish to continue doing so in the future.

May we wish you a welcome return to post-Covid 'normality'!

Broughton Astley Parish Council does not provide any insurance for the use of bouncy castles and cannot accept any responsibility in the event of any accident.

Main Hall maximum bouncy castle size: 11 x 15 feet and placed so as not to block fire exits.
Alan Talbott Room maximum bouncy castle size: 8 x 8 feet and placed so as not to block fire exits.
