Harborough District Council Environmental Patrols

Broughton Astley Parish Council can confirm that

Harborough District Council's Dog Wardens have been

patrolling various locations around Broughton Astley, at

different times of the day this week.

These patrols will be a regular feature in the coming weeks.

These Environmental Crime Officers are authorised to

approach members of the public with dogs, to check that they have the means to clear up their dog's poo.

On 5th May 2020; 31 dog walkers were challenged.

You must ensure that you remove your dog's poo AND

dispose of it correctly and responsibly.

Failure to do so will result in fines of up to £1000.00
